• ATPL(A) Modular Theoretical Course - Note: The course is held in Icelandic Language. Icelandic Flight Academy however accepts training from UK CAA approved FTO´s, such as Oxford Aviation Training, Bristol Ground School and Naples Air Center.  Acceptance of Icelandic Civil Aviation Authorities (ICAA) - Licence Department must be obatined for other countries on individual bases.  Further infromation regarding this can be found here.

We also do ICAO/FAA to JAA conversion courses, mainly MEP(A), IR(A) and CPL(A) upon individual requests.

One can also find answers to some ICAA - Icelandic Civil Aviation Authorities questions regarding transfer of ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge, licences and ratings to Iceland. Information can be found on the ICAA website.
